Community Manager
About the role
This position puts you at the center of a full community operation for Hawthorne Residential Partners in Greer, SC. You’ll carry responsibility for the financial performance of the property—including budget management, rent collection, deposit accounting, and delinquency tracking—while owning occupancy goals, renewal strategy, and pricing decisions. Resident experience is equally central: you’ll handle escalated concerns, organize community events that move the needle on satisfaction scores and online reputation, and stay hands-on with leasing duties such as conducting tours, responding to leads, and guiding prospects. You’ll also manage vendor relationships, oversee work order flow with the maintenance team, keep common areas and amenities in strong condition, and handle social media for the community. Team leadership rounds out the role: hiring, training, and coaching office and maintenance staff; running weekly team meetings; and serving as the primary culture driver on site.
