Our client, a leader in retail & consumer goods, is seeking a Community Manager to join their team. This is a W-2 contract role with a fully remote work arrangement in the US.
About the role
The Community Manager will act as the external voice of the company and specific brands while simultaneously representing the voice of the consumer internally. This role focuses on managing owned social media channels, engaging with consumers proactively and reactively, and supporting social media initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Interact with consumers on owned social media platforms using integrated management software and related tools.
- Participate in developing agile marketing content based on social media monitoring, flagging opportunities, and collaborating with internal & external partners.
- Document, share, and provide guidance on social copywriting best practices within and across community management teams.
- Engage in channels the organization leverages to gain firsthand knowledge of relevant opportunities.
- Support the development, management, and maintenance of all social media initiatives.
- Contribute to creating FAQs, consumer responses, and other social media content to support brand activations.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Complete additional tasks and projects to support business objectives.
- Engage directly with consumers on social media platforms, focusing on engagement and support rather than strategy or campaign development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and relevant professional experience.
- 1+ years of professional experience in social media management, customer engagement, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in copywriting and content editing for social media, including customer engagement, brand voice management, and risk mitigation in online interactions.
- Hands-on experience using Sprinklr for social media engagement, community management, and customer support is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish or French (a plus).
- Childcare experience (personal or professional).

Pay
The approximate pay range for this position is $36,400 to $52,000 per year. Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, and location.
