Duties
- Manage and direct the on-site staff
- Lead leasing and marketing activities
- Market analysis
- Resident relations
- Preparation/Management of property budgets
- Coordinate and supervise resident improvement and other capital projects
- Maintain strict adherence to State and Federal Fair Housing Laws
- Communicate effectively with site staff members
- Ensure compliance of all personnel policies and procedures
- Train and mentor office staff
- Perform regular inspections of managed property
- Bid, negotiate and manage vendor service contracts and one-time projects
- Ensure property compliance with all applicable Affordable Housing programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Minimum of 3 years as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager required or equivalent management experience
- Valid Drivers license
- HCCP Certification preferred
Education and Work Experience
- Strong financial management skills and budgeting, forecasting and cost control
- Solid multi-tasking skills and meeting deadlines
- Professional communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Experience with Yardi preferred
- Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays
- Able to travel for training and occasional business meetings

Qualifications
- Must have strong financial management skills and be well versed in budgeting, forecasting and cost control
- Must have solid multi-tasking skills and be able to meet deadlines
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Must have experience with Yardi
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays when the business requires
- Must be able to travel for training and occasional business meetings
