About the role
The Manager of Community Operations (Community Manager) at Alexan Tempe in Tempe, AZ, is responsible for keeping the community running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing top-notch service.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed targeted revenue expectations by setting rent rates, managing operating expenses, and diligently monitoring aged delinquency.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports with intuitive forecasting and a proactive plan for the financial performance of the asset.
- Coach, mentor, and inspire a team of administrative and service personnel, coordinating their activities and individual goals through tactical planning.
- Oversee the hiring process and ongoing employee performance management through courageous conversations and applicable HR processes.
- Conduct regular property inspections, propose, and own the resolution plan and execution of property enhancements.
Requirements
- 2+ years as a Community Manager in luxury multifamily setting.
- 3+ years people management experience.
- Experience in the Tempe region required.
- Experience in client-facing interactions for a third-party managed community.
- Demonstrated coaching and development ability.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Financial acumen with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and professional presence.
- Experience using Resman, Yardi, or similar platforms is especially desirable.
- A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

Pay
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $70,000-$75,000/year. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible to receive bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics.
