Work Activities & Accountabilities

  • Covenant Enforcement: Leads management team on serving Community Association clients to provide day-to-day operational, covenant enforcement, and design review services
  • Public Administration: Completes projects as assigned, assists in preparing board packets and communications, helps to track documents and direct vendor relationships
  • Begins developing knowledge of state statutes governing local governments and CRS Title 32 special and metropolitan districts, governmental budgets, public records, public hearings, public notices, governmental purchasing practices, policy formation, and tax structure
  • Manages small public infrastructure planning, financing, construction and maintenance alternatives
  • Special District Compliance: Develops understanding of statutory compliance issues pertaining to special districts and municipalities, required filings with DOLA and other agencies
  • Leads management team with completing small statutory compliance matters and tracking the calendar for same
  • Develops knowledge of state statutes
  • Client Service: Responsible for providing superior client service in a support role to the management team
  • Conducts site visits as directed by management team
  • Coordinates client facility reservations/use

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively work within a team environment

Education/Experience Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field required, or Associate's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field plus two years of experience in a related field, or 4+ years of related experience acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
  • One year of experience in city or county management, public works, land development or related field(s) required

  • These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range.
  • For Colorado, the range for this position is $52,200 to $88,000.
