About the role

We take pride in providing an exceptional living experience for our residents and are seeking a motivated maintenance professional with experience in repairs, customer service, and property upkeep.

Responsibilities

  • Perform interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartment homes, common areas, buildings, and grounds according to established procedures.
  • Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner while regularly communicating progress with the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy in accordance with established make-ready standards.
  • Inspect completed work performed by outside contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to maintain the property's appearance, safety, and curb appeal.
  • Assist with warranty management for the newly constructed community by identifying warrantable items, documenting issues, submitting warranty claims, coordinating with vendors, and verifying that repairs are completed to company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
  • Regularly inspect common areas to ensure they remain clean, safe, and fully operational.
  • Participate in resident events and community activities as requested by management.
  • Participate in the property's rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.
  • An HVAC certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field required.
  • A working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building trades is required.
  • The ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision.
  • A basic understanding of the English language and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • The ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
