About the Role
Supervise direct care staff and oversee residential sites for individuals with developmental disabilities (I/DD).
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year experience working with I/DD or related field (degree in related field may substitute for experience)
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required
- Possess a current and valid driver’s license, and proof of current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle
- Possess and maintain an excellent driving record
- Ability to pass a caregiver criminal history screening background check and any subsequent background checks that ENMRSH, Inc. deems necessary
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
Responsibilities
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well
- Have minimal computer skills and be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse
- Ability to drive a vehicle and transport clients in personal vehicle
- Possess ability to train and support individuals and staff
- Work flexible hours and assignments
- Demonstrate patience
- Must type with speed and accuracy and possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner
- Operate a multi-line phone, copier, fax machine, scanner, and various other office equipment
Physical Requirements
- Requires handling paperwork with the use of hands, arms, and fingers
- Requires the use of fingers on a computer keyboard
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Must be able to drive a car
- Be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel
- Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for eight hours per day
