About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Community Life Associate who can plan and execute a well-rounded, refined program to support resident health and well-being. This role involves more than just the responsibilities listed below and requires a passion for working with seniors.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement activities that promote resident engagement and well-being
- Work closely with residents to understand their interests and needs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
- Develop and maintain a diverse and engaging program calendar
- Collaborate with the Resident Services team to enhance the overall living experience
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 2 years experience in preparing and implementing Activities
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Degree in therapeutic recreation or related field (preferred)
- Experience in resident programming (preferred)
- Passion for seniors
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
