About the role
The Hospice Community Liaison will interact with the community and promote Ennoble Care's services and Hospice services. Responsibilities include analyzing potential markets, visiting healthcare facilities to obtain referrals, analyzing the company's organization and product line, developing sales/marketing objectives, and implementing a marketing plan.
Responsibilities
- Analyze potential of the company's service area to determine target markets
- Visit doctor's offices, hospitals, Assisted Living facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and other possible sources of referrals to present agency credentials and obtain patient referrals
- Analyze the company's organization to determine its strengths and weaknesses
- Analyze past and current marketing data
- Complete an analysis of the company's "product" line
- Analyze patient/company relationships
- Develop sales/marketing objectives and sales projections
- Develop a marketing plan, identifying priorities and setting a reasonable timetable
- Implement marketing plan staying within established timetable
- Review and evaluate analyses and plan on an established basis
- Attend IDG meetings, as appropriate
- Assist office staff as needed with updates, etc.
- Provide community outreach and education
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in marketing, nursing, or social work interacting with health agencies/professionals
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
Qualifications
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a licensed professional in nursing or social work
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and referral processes
