Community Liaison Advisor, Hawai‘i (P3)
Role Overview
As the Community Liaison Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable children in achieving a brighter future in Hawai‘i through the Community-based Early Childhood Continuums Initiative.
Essential Duties
Support Community-based Early Childhood Continuums Initiative (50%)
Capacity Building and Technical Assistance (40%)
Data Collection and Reporting (10%)
Potential Program Expansion
Lead in-state networking and partnership development across the early childhood and education sectors
Identify and refine geographic and programmatic partnership priorities
Maintain awareness of relevant policy developments
Coordinate exploratory site visits, listening sessions, and stakeholder convenings
Partner with external experts and colleagues to integrate Native Hawaiian perspectives and practices
Shape, pursue, and support funding proposals aligned with potential expansion goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in the early childhood and/or education sectors in Hawai‘i with established network of partnerships
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging
Demonstrated ability to convey a clear understanding of issues related to poverty in rural communities
Willingness and ability to travel within the state up to 30% of the time
Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in community development, community mobilization, facilitation of diverse partners toward common goals, or similar, across Hawai‘i
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $74,800 - $83,600 base salary, depending on location.
