About the role

This is an on-site position. The Community Lead (CL) will service multiple needs, including primary implementation and oversight of all property-specific tasks such as leasing and marketing strategy/execution, maintenance oversight, efficient property operations, and budget monitoring/enforcement. The CL reports to the Regional Vice President (RVP) with frequent interaction and on-site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight
    • Responsible for property leasing metric management, monitoring, and accountability to RVP
    • Manage activity and output of all property-specific staff
    • Manage all vendor/subcontractor relationships
    • Determine Marketing Liaison (ML) capacity utilization to effectively perform required work while limiting both over- and under-staffing
    • Maintain general compliance from governmental/legal, lease/contract, safety, and all other enforceable items
    • Monitor internal compliance on all technician-related standards
    • Help maintain all supporting digital and physical information and files
  • Leasing and Marketing
    • Successfully meet renewal leasing targets for existing tenants
    • Sign new leases to meet property leasing goals
    • Identify the most effective marketing path for the property while maintaining the integrity of the marketing budget
  • Budget
    • Assist RVP and Corporate in the formulation of the pro forma annual property budget by the assigned deadline each year
    • Monitor the applicable individual property budget on an ongoing basis as frequently as required for effective performance
    • Address all significant budget variances and develop an immediate plan of action

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
  • 2-3 years of experience in property-related management
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Organized and structured
  • Flexible, approachable, and able to multitask
  • High integrity and character
