About the role

The Community Initiatives Program Administrator is responsible for managing and administering Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and other Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the implementation and compliance with federal and state grant requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local stakeholders, including community organizations and residents.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of affordable housing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the Manager on strategic housing issues.

Responsibilities

The Community Initiatives Program Administrator will contribute to solutions for issues surrounding home ownership and affordable housing. Specific duties include:

  • Managing and reporting on grant funds.
  • Coordinating with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Manager in developing and implementing housing strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in urban planning, public policy, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in grant management or related field.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications
