Essential Responsibilities
- Help with the promotional efforts to drive enrollment and participation in community programs
- Propose ideas to enhance the quality of program offerings
- Aid in market and/or vendor research for programming and project needs
- Support the coordination efforts for community programs and/or event operations
- Afford assistance with pre- and post-event evaluations to help develop reports on outcomes
- Be capable of effectively engaging with established relationships, building trust, and fostering collaboration to support diverse community needs
- Have opportunity to collaborate with the Grant Writing team to gain hands-on exposure to policy research, grant prospecting, and the fundamentals of nonprofit fundraising
- Complete other ad hoc community outreach tasks as determined appropriate
Internship Requirements
- Enrolled Founder's College student in good academic standing; completion of first-semester core coursework preferred
- Demonstrate an interest in nonprofit management, event management, marketing/communications, social work, education, family studies, museum studies, child development, psychology, sociology, or a related field
- Have good oral and written communication skills, and excellent organizational and research skills
- Have web research skills and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Must be able to communicate effectively with community members, staff, and partners, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to move throughout community spaces and Museum facilities as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation
