What You'll Do
- Aid in planning, promoting, and executing community events, workshops, and virtual meetups.
- Support the development of content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
- Respond to community inquiries and engage with members across platforms.
- Conduct research on community needs, trends, and engagement strategies.
- Help track engagement metrics and compile reports on community feedback and outcomes.
- Provide general administrative support to the community engagement team.
What You'll Bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for community building and social impact.
- Experience with social media platforms and/or digital tools for community engagement (e.g., Slack, Facebook Groups).
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Creative thinker who brings enthusiasm and initiative.
- Must be able to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, OR Phoenix, Arizona. Requires transportation (not company provided) and the ability to independently travel to operational sites, events, communities, and partner locations as needed.
What Else You Should Know
- This internship is a full-time position, in-person at our Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, OR Phoenix, Arizona office.
- We will host our Fall 2026 interns from September to December.
- Zipline is unable to sponsor work visas for applicants to this position.
- The hourly rate for this internship is $34 per hour.
- Additional benefits may include relocation support, a housing stipend, overtime pay, paid sick time, and other benefits, where applicable and subject to local requirements.
