About the role

The Community Inclusion Specialist provides direct support to adults with developmental disabilities by facilitating meaningful community-based activities that promote inclusion, independence, and skill development. This role will escort and support participants in community outings; implement Individual Support Plans; facilitate activities; complete documentation; manage outing budgets; provide transportation and basic first aid.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have own vehicle to use as well as motor vehicle insurance and valid vehicle registration
