COMMUNITY HOUSING WORKER

About the role

We’re expanding our team at Herring House Trust in Great Yarmouth. Herring House Trust is a local charity providing accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and understand trauma-informed support in practice.
• Get to know people, understand what matters to them, and work alongside them.
• Support people to sustain their homes and move towards greater independence.
• Work across Herring House Trust accommodation and the community.

Requirements

Experience and ideas are valued at Herring House Trust. Learning and reflective practice are part of how we work, giving staff space to share ideas and think about their work together. We also value life outside work and have designed these roles with working patterns that give people proper time away.
