About the role
The Engineering Manager at Crio, Inc is responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the development and delivery of innovative solutions. Reporting to the CEO, this role oversees project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical direction and strategic planning of engineering projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and sales
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in best practices and continuous improvement
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize project requirements
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering management
- Experience managing a team of 10 or more engineers
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Experience with software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (JUnit, Selenium)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
