About the role

The Engineering Manager at Crio, Inc is responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the development and delivery of innovative solutions. Reporting to the CEO, this role oversees project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical direction and strategic planning of engineering projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and sales
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in best practices and continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize project requirements
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering management
  • Experience managing a team of 10 or more engineers
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools

Qualifications

  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools (JUnit, Selenium)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
