Member Duties
During their year of service, Fellows serve full-time in a local nonprofit organization on defined community-engagement activities. Each site is unique. The scope of each project and activity will vary based on the host site, which can be found in the VISTA Assignment Descriptions. Common activities include:- Plan community engagement events and activities
- Research and build community partnerships
- Design community-informed research projects
- Establish community engagement best practices within the organization
