Community Education Instructor
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging instruction in the listed subject areas.
- Ensure all instruction is executed safely and in compliance with required specialty and LCC standards.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Expertise in the subject matter being taught (e.g., Cooking, Fitness, Arts, etc.).
- Strong verbal communication and instructional skills.
- Able to work effectively with diverse groups of community members.
Education, Experience And Licenses
- Required Certifications for Specific Classes (Long-Term):
- Culinary or Cooking Classes: Must possess current ServSafe certification at time of application.
- Fitness/Exercise Classes: Must be certified in the specific specialty (e.g., Yoga, Zumba, etc.) AND hold a current First Aid/CPR card at time of application.
Compensation
The hourly pay rate will be between $20.00 and $22.50 per hour, depending on the certifications required for the specific class.
Employment Type
This position will be part time at 19 hours per week or less.
