Community Education Instructor
About the role
Lincoln Land Community College seeks contractual part-time instructors to teach and serve as a resource to class participants. Positions are available in various subject areas including technology, crafts/DIY, photography, gardening, fitness/health, personal development, family matters, career enhancement, foreign languages and culture, personal finance, textiles, ACT Test Prep, youth STEAM, and culinary. Opportunities are offered at the main campus and four additional locations: Jacksonville, Beardstown, Litchfield, and Taylorville.
Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum for non-credit classes
- Instruct individuals in a classroom setting
- Maintain accurate reporting (attendance, evaluations, etc.)
- Absorb and assist with marketing and recruitment of students for classes
- Comply with department and college policies and procedures
