Responsibilities

  • Train undergraduate students in culturally responsive youth programming.
  • Mentor Master of Public Health students and Global Studies students in capstone projects.
  • Work with medical students who provide health education classes.
  • Teach through program design, mentorship, and community-based instruction and leadership training.
  • Develop and lead programming for women and children, requiring the translation of knowledge into accessible, culturally responsive educational experiences.
  • Cook with volunteers and students, involving ongoing instruction, modeling, feedback, and supervision.
  • Work with community partners and participants, requiring teaching across lines of difference, helping students and others learn how to engage ethically and effectively in community-based settings.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • A successful background screening is required.
  • No licensure/certifications are required.
