Responsibilities
- Train undergraduate students in culturally responsive youth programming.
- Mentor Master of Public Health students and Global Studies students in capstone projects.
- Work with medical students who provide health education classes.
- Teach through program design, mentorship, and community-based instruction and leadership training.
- Develop and lead programming for women and children, requiring the translation of knowledge into accessible, culturally responsive educational experiences.
- Cook with volunteers and students, involving ongoing instruction, modeling, feedback, and supervision.
- Work with community partners and participants, requiring teaching across lines of difference, helping students and others learn how to engage ethically and effectively in community-based settings.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- A successful background screening is required.
- No licensure/certifications are required.
