Community Driver

About the role

The Community Driver at Mercer Commons transports residents to/from off-site activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other off-site events using non-CDL community vehicles. The Community Driver ensures regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles and complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation. Responsibilities

• Transport residents to/from off-site activities such as shopping, doctor appointments, scenic drives, or other off-site events using non-CDL community vehicles
• Ensure regular cleaning, maintenance, and daily inspection of community vehicles
• Comply with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation

Qualifications

• Experience in auto maintenance is helpful, but not required
• Must have a current Driver’s License
• One or more years of experience driving others, or in other related fields

Schedule

Part‑time, working 10‑15 hours per week; schedule varies (available for Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays between 7:00 am‑6:00 pm, Saturdays between 2:30 pm‑6:00 pm, and Sundays between 7:00 am‑12:00 pm). Preference for weekend/holiday availability (typically working 1‑2 weekend days per month).
