Senior Community Driver

About the role

Calyx Living is seeking a Part-Time Driver for our assisted living community in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This role involves transporting residents to physician appointments, outings, and off-site events, as well as performing light office work and assisting residents in and out of the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled physician appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle
• Inspect the company vehicle before and after trips
• Provide a comfortable and safe environment for seniors during transport
• Perform light office work as needed
• Maintain a "safety first" attitude toward all residents and staff

Requirements

• Current NC Driver’s license
• Prior experience driving in a senior living setting strongly preferred
• Friendly, accommodating, and positive demeanor
• Excellent listening and customer service skills
• Genuine interest in the safety and well-being of residents
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
