Community Dementia Nurse
About the role
The successful candidate will be committed to developing and enhancing their clinical skills including and contributing to specialised nursing assessment, advice, health care intervention and contributing to service re design within the community services of Mental Health. You will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a holistic Dementia Service to individuals in the Western Isles.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a holistic Dementia Service to individuals in the Western Isles.
- Contribute to specialised nursing assessment, advice, health care intervention and service re design within the community services of Mental Health.
Requirements
- Post registration experience working in Dementia Services or seeking to develop their career in a challenging but supportive community environment.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Able to provide a high standard of care within the Dementia Service as part of the Community Mental Health Team.
Qualifications
NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society. The successful candidate will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).

Benefits
£34,544 - £43,039 per annum plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance per annum.
Pay

Schedule
36 hours per week.
