Community Compliance Officer

Schedule
- Part-time position
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Hours may vary based on community activity and seasonal needs
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols throughout the community by vehicle, golf cart, bicycle, or on foot
- Observe and document violations of OCA Restrictions and Rules, and community standards
- Photograph and accurately document observed violations using approved reporting methods
- Submit detailed daily inspection reports to the Oldfield Community Manager or designee
- Maintain confidentiality regarding homeowner information and compliance matters
- Monitor common areas, amenities, roadways, parks, walking trails, and neighborhoods for compliance issues
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged common area property, irrigation issues, landscaping concerns, and other conditions requiring attention
- Maintain parking areas for compliance with OCA parking regulations
- Observe recreational vehicle, golf cart, bicycle, and e-bike use for compliance with OCA restrictions and rules
- Respond to resident questions regarding community rules in a courteous and professional manner
- Refer complaints or confrontational situations to the Oldfield Community Manager or designee
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to remain objective, professional, and impartial
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Ability to learn and interpret OCA governing documents and rules
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid South Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate a golf cart safely
- Previous experience in property management, code enforcement, security, customer service, or community association operations is preferred
- Must successfully complete training on OCA governing documents and compliance procedures
Physical Requirements
- Walk, stand, drive, and ride a bicycle throughout the community for extended periods
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Lift up to 25 pounds
- Use a smartphone or tablet for documentation and photography
