Community Canvasser - Voter Contact in Nebraska ($20/$22/hr bonuses)

We are looking for Canvassers and Team Leaders to join us in Nebraska to get out the vote for Dan Osborn for Senate.

Compensation

• Canvassers: $20/hour, Paid training at $18/hr for first 3 days
• Team Leaders: $22/hour
• Overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals offered

Qualifications

• Pasionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy
• Strong communication skills; enjoy working with other people and speaking with everyone
• Hard worker who stays motivated to engage as many people as possible
• Open to new challenges and interested in building campaign skills
• Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community
• Prior canvassing experience is preferred, but not required

• Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters
• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills
• Follow the campaign's safety protocols
• Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day, and debriefing with them at the end of the day
• Absorb all the materials needed to be successful
• Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the US upon hire
• Employees must present original, and unexpired documents from the Lists of Acceptable Documents to complete the I-9 form verification
