About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Community-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves providing personal care assistance, accompanying clients on errands and appointments, spending time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities, and assisting with everyday tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Requirements

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (training may be available through our apprentice program if not experienced)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities
• Thrives in a culture that cares

Pay

$18-20 / hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
• Mileage reimbursement during community outings
