About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) to join our Community Nursing Team across West Caithness. This role supports high-quality, person-centred care within patients' homes and the wider community.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an integrated community nursing team
  • Deliver care to individuals with a wide range of needs
  • Support clinical assessments
  • Contribute to care planning
  • Work closely with registered nursing staff

Requirements

  • SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ3 in Healthcare or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work towards SCQF Level 8 (PDA or equivalent), with structured support and mentorship
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • SCQF Level 8 qualification already achieved
  • Experience working in community or healthcare settings

Qualifications

Essential: SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ3 in Healthcare or equivalent)

Desirable: SCQF Level 8 qualification already achieved
