Community Assistant Practitioner
About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) to join our Community Nursing Team across West Caithness. This role supports high-quality, person-centred care within patients' homes and the wider community.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of an integrated community nursing team
- Deliver care to individuals with a wide range of needs
- Support clinical assessments
- Contribute to care planning
- Work closely with registered nursing staff
Requirements
- SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ3 in Healthcare or equivalent)
- Willingness to work towards SCQF Level 8 (PDA or equivalent), with structured support and mentorship
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- SCQF Level 8 qualification already achieved
- Experience working in community or healthcare settings
Qualifications
Essential: SCQF Level 7 (e.g., SVQ3 in Healthcare or equivalent)
