About the role

Join our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team and directly support and promote EY’s brand and reputation. Through internal communications, public relations, and corporate communications, you’ll provide marketing and communications services to internal and external audiences, including current and future clients, employees, alumni, regulators, the media, and the communities we operate in.

The Communications Supervising Associate will enhance our internal communications strategy for the Ethics, Compliance & Risk Management function. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the firm. You’ll develop and manage internal news articles, newsletters, presentations, emails, process guides, and data metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business function’s communication strategy by collaborating with the Communications and Engagement team and internal/external stakeholders to meet objectives.
  • Identify content opportunities, engage with subject matter experts, secure reviews and approvals, and edit content as needed.
  • Draft, edit, and review content to ensure grammatical accuracy, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Manage communication channels for the business function, including email, newsletters, internal articles, and news pages.
  • Leverage communications expertise to ensure consistent messaging across all audiences.
  • Liaise with creative services resources on various deliverables.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to gauge reach, engagement, and performance of internal communication campaigns, informing results-based decision-making.
  • Prioritize work and balance multiple priorities to meet client commitments and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in communications (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent work experience.

Skills

  • Ability to comprehend domain-specific contexts, concepts, and terminologies.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with people at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to a constantly changing and growing business environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including superior editing, proofing, and grammar proficiency.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Journalistic sense for creating compelling content, identifying key messages, and interpreting them for wider audiences.
  • Sophisticated analytical thinking to make decisions and identify innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently within the communications area with general supervision.
  • Previous experience in large, matrix organizations or other Big Four firms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Stream.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Acrobat/PDF-Xchange, Adobe platform, OneAccess, Marketo, and Process Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to assist in managing budgets for communication initiatives.
  • Communications experience at another Big 4 firm, professional services company, or regulated industry.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $74,800 to $139,900. For New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $89,800 to $159,000. Individual salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

Join our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Most people in external, client-serving roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
