Morreale Communications is an award-winning, woman-owned public relations firm specializing in Transportation and Infrastructure, Health and Wellness, Energy and Utilities, and Public Affairs. This role supports a client within the Transportation Engineering industry.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of high-quality work by assisting with project tasks, ensuring deliverables are accurate, organized, and completed on time
- Communicate with internal staff, external project partners, and clients via email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions to share updates and support team coordination
- Aid in developing, editing, and formatting reports about client infrastructure for a range of stakeholders, including engineers, legislators, and the public
- Format criteria and specification manuals and assist with uploading to client websites, as needed
- Cook up logistics and provide support for technical training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and day-of facilitation
- Assist with outreach and execution of events and technical workshops for engineers and industry partners
- Help gather feedback and measure attendee satisfaction to support continuous improvement efforts
- Track project timelines and deliverables, and escalate potential issues to internal team to ensure projects stay on track
- Attend and support in-person client meetings, events, and functions
Qualifications
- 2-4 years professional experience in project management or communications for/within the transportation or engineering industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both on deliverables and with project partners
- Ability to convey complex, technical topics in a clear and concise manner
- Skilled at working with minimal supervision on high-profile projects
- Experience in supporting project teams while balancing multiple initiatives concurrently
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a preferential focus in engineering, communications, urban planning, or related field
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client offices and events
- Able to work onsite in Lisle, IL a minimum of three days, per week
