Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Executive Consultation & Strategy
- Interface directly with corporate executives to capture presentation objectives and narrative flow.
- Analyze complex business concepts and ask clarifying questions to ensure strategic alignment.
- Distill executive input into actionable direction for design.
- Project Management
- Cook up deliverables of multiple presentation projects simultaneously.
- Manage timelines, version control, and stakeholder feedback.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for project status updates.
- Keynote Experience (Bonus)
- Develop presentation decks that align with client branding and project objectives.
- Understand complex ideas and executive strategy. Provide clear direction for our design team to turn these into easily understandable visual formats, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Ensure all materials adhere to established brand guidelines and corporate standards.
- Aid in copywriting and proofreading all materials before delivering to client.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate the professional presence required to interact with C-suite leadership.
- Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Apple Keynote. Familiarity with standard project management software and macOS ecosystems.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to synthesize high-level corporate strategy into visual storytelling.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and represent the organization effectively in a corporate office environment.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work on-site 2-3 days per week in Sunnyvale, CA, as required by the executive schedule. Work from home is available otherwise. Role will likely start part-time, and can transition to full-time for the right candidate.
- Growth mindset: Desire to continue building skill set through asking questions, working in new programs, and working across design styles.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting executive communications or presentation design.
- Minimum 1 year of experiences designingly natively in Keynote is required. Knowledge of Keynote templating is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and the Adobe Suite are a plus.
- Professional experience and/or higher education in communications, arts, design, and/or business.
