About the role

At Bon Appétit Management Company we are committed to two things: great food and outstanding service. Our chefs and managers stay abreast of current culinary trends and bring cutting-edge food into their cafés without relying on standardized recipes or central commissaries. As a restaurant company operating in contract food service, we offer the freedom to be creative, take risks, and grow.

  • Support C-suite and rapid-response communications as needed.
  • Guide the employee engagement plan alongside HR and Employee Experience; coordinate company-wide webcasts and town halls from invitations to rehearsals to recordings.
  • Serve as the go-to point person for parent company communications, press materials, and annual events and awards.
  • Maintain and refresh our intranet to keep it useful and on-brand; partner with the Digital Asset Manager to ensure great photography flows to the right channels.
  • Contribute to internal and external storytelling through our blog, magazines, and other platforms.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of internal, corporate, or employee communications experience, preferably in food service, hospitality, or a multi-site organization.
  • Proven track record of clear, confident executive communications, including managing urgent messages within complex organizations.
  • Experience as a trusted communications partner to C-suite leaders and HR teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong writing skills across emails, intranet posts, decks, newsletters, and scripts.
  • Comfort with PowerPoint/Canva, intranet/CMS platforms (Inkling and SharePoint a plus), and newsletter tools like Contact Monkey.
  • Strong project management instincts and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders calmly.

Skills

  • Creativity across formats and channels.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate complexity into plain, human language.
  • Organizational steadiness, even with last-minute requests.
  • Belief in amplifying every voice in the workforce and bringing people together around a shared story.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance, AD&D, and disability insurance.
  • Retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and holiday time off (varies by site/state).
  • Associate shopping program.
  • Health and wellness programs.

  • Identity theft protection.
  • Pet insurance.
  • Commuter benefits.
  • Employee assistance program.
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs).
  • Paid parental leave and personal leave.
  • Eligibility for additional paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
