About the role
As a Communications & Events Specialist at SRC Holdings Corp., you'll play a vital role in telling the SRC story, elevating our brand presence, and bringing our ownership culture to life through meaningful communication and well-executed events.
Responsibilities
- Draft and share internal announcements, executive communications, and ownership-focused news stories.
- Develop press releases and community-facing communications that enhance SRC's public presence.
- Sustain SRC's brand awareness in the community, including digital advertising and brand asset management.
- Manage Holdings' social media platforms and support website updates.
- Cook up with regional schools and SRC companies to provide tours and educational opportunities.
- Create recruiting and benefits promotional and educational materials that strengthen SRC's employer brand, re-recruit associates and develop our talent pipeline.
- Cook up with and execute major events including the Annual Shareholder Meeting and Semi-Annual Sales & Marketing Meetings.
- Cook up with ownership culture committees and engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or event coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, project management or equivalent experience.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills for both internal and external audiences.
- Experience planning and executing professional events.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Polished professional communication skills that connect with all levels of the organization.
- Leverages strong tech aptitude and a continuous-learning mindset to quickly adopt and implement new technologies, increasing efficiency and overall performance.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, ADP, and social media platforms.
