Responsibilities
- Coordinates communications activities in support of a university program, including publications, newsletters, annual reports, web site, and informational and solicitation materials.
- Captures and edits high-quality photographs of school events, student experiences, programs and other activities for use across various platforms.
- Sets and edits short-form video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, YouTube shorts and other digital marketing needs.
- Maintains the school's digital library of photographs and video assets.
- Researches emerging social media and content trends and recommends approaches to support student recruitment and program promotion.
- Collaborates with faculty, staff, students and alumni on media-related projects.
- Manages media-related equipment.
- Manages daily activity across the Hobby School's and the dean's social media platforms, scheduling posts using a social media management platform.
- Maintains and manages social media audience engagement, responding to comments and messages.
- Analyzes social media content performance using reports from a social media management platform and offers recommendations to improve content strategy and engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience in creative storytelling and digital content creation to build awareness and engagement with audiences.
- Experience managing social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in an analytical, technical or professional discipline, or equivalent specialized training.
- A minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
Pay
$49,400 - $56,200 annually
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week
