Job Responsibilities
- Serve as lead in the coordination and execution of major corporate events.
- These events include in-person leadership meetings and hybrid all-coworker business updates.
- Collaborate with department and cross-functional leaders to plan event agendas and logistics.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure high-quality event execution.
- Monitor event budgets and ensure all financial aspects are handled according to company policies.
- Collect feedback and participate in the evaluation of events to improve future initiatives.
- Act as a thought partner with other functional areas within the company to ensure clear and concise enterprise communications.
- Serve as a part of the on-call rotation for emergency response communications, which may include evening and weekend work.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School or GED-General Educational Development Diploma
- 5 years of job-related experience
- CA Class C License, or equivalent
- Record of Clean Driving Desired
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in event planning or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in planning and executing events
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
- Certified Meeting Planner Professional (CMP)
- Experience in corporate environments
- Ability to create engaging visual presentations for various audiences
- Flexibility to travel as needed for event planning and execution
