About the role
The Office of Health Workforce Development (OHWD), Operations Branch, seeks a Communications Analyst II to support the development and implementation of communication workflows, standard operating procedures, and tools that promote transparency and efficiency across OHWD programs.
Responsibilities
- Supports the develop and implementation of communication workflows, standard operating procedures, and tools that promote transparency and efficiency across OHWD programs.
- Ensures that internal and external communication needs are met.
- Adaptable to time-sensitive changes, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is highly collaborative with cross-functional teams.
- Maintains high standards for customer service.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field AND 2 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field AND 4 years of relevant experience.
- Desirable Qualifications: Experience in healthcare communications, knowledge of healthcare policies, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits
Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month.
Pay
$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month
