Communications Specialist II
Trillium Health Resources is a Tailored Plan and Managed Care Organization (MCO) serving 46 counties across North Carolina. We manage services for individuals with serious mental health needs, substance use disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). About the role
The Communications Specialist II supports execution of communications and marketing activities across digital, print, and media channels. They help impact positive health outcomes and Trillium public perception through this role that develops content, applies brand and accessibility standards, and coordinates communication initiatives to ensure consistent delivery of accurate, audience-appropriate information that supports organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, edit, and proof content for websites, publications, and member communication materials.
- Apply brand standards, accessibility requirements, and readability guidelines to all communications.
- Coordinate development and distribution of email communications, including list management and reporting.
- Support design and production of print and digital materials, including brochures, newsletters, and reports.
- Maintain and update website content in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure all communications align with organizational branding guidelines and messaging standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design or maintenance, or social marketing; OR
- Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design or maintenance, or social marketing; OR
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design or maintenance, or social marketing; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must reside within North Carolina.
- Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

Schedule
Typical working hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; flexible work schedules available for some positions with management approval.
Pay
Posting Salary Range: $56,270 - $69,898
