Communication Technician

Purpose

To bridge the gap between the Technology and Communication department by ensuring that digital technology used for communication remains current, efficient, and user-friendly within Southwest Allen County Schools (SACS).

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, using phone, email, text messaging, software (presentation, publication, etc.), and other technologies.
• Possess the ability and desire to learn the technical aspects of the job and attend training to improve performance.
• Ability and desire to pursue certifications such as Comp TIA or Network+.
• Customer service focused with the ability to work with students and staff, and SACS families/guardians on hardware, software, and network operations.
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle to drive from building to building in the corporation when needed.

Terms of Employment

This is a full time, 12 month position. This position is eligible for benefits.
