Communication Coordinator
About the role
SPIRITUS Ministries is seeking a creative, faith-filled Catholic to serve as our full-time Communication Coordinator. This mission-driven position plays a vital role in sharing the Gospel by communicating the life-changing work of SPIRITUS, which inspires youth, forms leaders, and deepens faith. Through compelling digital media, print communications, websites, social media, and branding, the Communication Coordinator will help inspire thousands of young people to encounter Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization's communication strategy
- Manage and update SPIRITUS websites using Wix
- Create professional print and digital materials with Canva
- Coordinate social media platforms
- Produce engaging photography and short-form videos
- Ensure a consistent, inspiring, and professional public image for the ministry
- Mentor a Social Media Intern
- Develop communication systems and standard operating procedures
- Monitor communication analytics
- Collaborate closely with staff to promote retreats, events, and other ministry initiatives
Requirements
- Faithful, practicing Catholic with a passion for evangelization and a desire to advance the mission of SPIRITUS Ministries
- Creative, self-motivated, highly organized, and an excellent communicator
- Takes initiative while working collaboratively with the team
- Experience with Wix, Canva, photography, videography, video editing, social media marketing, and digital branding is strongly preferred
