Commons Desk Operations Team Leader (CSR)
Responsibilities
- Processing USPS mail and package deliveries; forwarding USPS mail
- Issuing and tracking residence hall room keys per guidelines and maintaining key inventory
- Submitting work orders for core changes
- Issuing temporary ID cards, reviewing digital door access information to troubleshoot
- Processing payment for various transactions using register system and maintaining a cash drawer
- Processing sign-outs of recreational equipment, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Tracking and handling Lost and Found items per University policy
- Communicating policies and procedures to customers and student employees
Requirements
- General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS)
- No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education
- Required Certifications: None

- Requires the operation of various office equipment and computer systems

Pay
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $33,504.00 - $48,552.00.
Schedule
Overnight Position - Typical work schedule is Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm - 8am (Friday and Saturday off), with some variation for special events and summer operations.
Location
Work location may vary between the six Commons Desks Operations as necessary for coverage and duties.

Campus Security Crime Statistics
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
