Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led classroom instruction for Army Cyber School courses in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction (POIs), lesson plans, and Army instructional standards.
- Support the development, revision, and maintenance of Army Cyber School curriculum and training products in accordance with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) instructional design methodology.
- Develop and maintain lesson plans, Programs of Instruction (POIs), Individual Student Assessment Plans (ISAPs), practical exercises, presentations, student guides, instructor guides, and other instructional materials.
- Determine learning objectives and task requirements in support of course development.
- Review and update instructional materials to ensure compliance with USCYBERCOM J7 guidance, Army University Systems Approach to Learning (SALT), Army Learning Model (ALM) principles, TRADOC Regulation 350-70, Unified Land Operations doctrine, and other applicable regulations and standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, practical exercises, and scenario-based learning activities that reinforce Army Cyber doctrine and operational concepts.
- Absess student performance through written examinations, practical exercises, and other approved evaluation methods.
- Evaluate course effectiveness and recommend curriculum improvements based on student feedback, doctrine updates, and operational requirements.
- Maintain classroom readiness, instructional equipment, training aids, and course materials to support successful course delivery.
- Collaborate with government personnel, instructors, and curriculum developers to continuously improve instructional quality and student outcomes.
- Stay current on Army doctrine, cyber operations, and emerging technologies to ensure instructional content remains accurate and relevant.
- Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and ethical conduct while supporting the Army Cyber School mission.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or related STEM/technical field.
- At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years delivering full-length cybersecurity or cyber operations training courses to military audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline preferred.
- Experience with workflows, malware analysis and system configuration in an instructional environment.
- Proven ability to translate complex cyber concepts into practical, scenario-based instruction.
- Experience teaching Python programming, networking, digital signal processing, or electronic warfare concepts in a DoD or military training environment.
