About the role
This role oversees the maintenance of the Association’s common areas, aligning with the company’s mission to build community through shared experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary service and maintenance to ensure common areas are tidy, clean, and welcoming.
- Maintain the property to meet required inspections and safety standards.
- Keep records of maintenance, equipment warranties, and service information.
- Complete and delegate repairs and work orders, supervising external vendors or contractors.
- Prepare weekly reports detailing inspection results.
- Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule, keeping records of planned services.
- Create and recommend bids for contract awards, preparing bid specifications.
- Manage an inventory of frequently-used items and place orders for equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Aid in creating and tracking a yearly maintenance budget, reporting monthly on common area expenses.
- Drive progress towards high standards of common area grounds maintenance.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in grounds maintenance.
- Five years of experience in direct supervision of staff or vendors.
- A certificate, associate's degree, or equivalent in turf management or horticulture.
- Possession of a Colorado Pesticide Applicators License, in turf and/or ornamental.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google Maps, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to manage vendors, collaborate with committees, and maintain professional relationships.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions, including high heat.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. and perform physical labor.
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
