Commodity Material Manager

12-month temporary onsite assignment in Austin, TX.

About the Role

Commodity Material Manager responsible for direct vendor management to own strategic supplier relationships, interpret complex demand/supply reports, and drive supply improvements (lead time reduction, capacity expansion, on-time delivery performance) across high-volume infrastructure commodities. Must synthesize supply health and risk posture into clear, decision-ready status updates for senior leadership. Experience in hyperscale data center or cloud infrastructure is strongly preferred; high-volume supply chain background is required.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of commodity material management experience
• Ability to navigate conflict and competing priorities across internal teams (engineering, planning, finance) and external partners (ODMs, component suppliers)
• Commodity management skills at large scale
• Hi-Tech industry experience (other industries will not be considered)

Pay

$70.00 - $80.00 per hour
