This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of commodity management and buying professionals
- Lead negotiations for commodities and services within the group
- Develop and implement procurement policies to ensure strategic purchasing
- Establish corporate targets in pricing, terms, and supplier performance
- Maintain materials cost responsibility and oversee procurement strategy execution
- Interact with senior executives of multinational companies for negotiations and partnerships
- Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers' senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Economics, or MBA, or equivalent experience
- 11-14 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or commodity management
- Expert knowledge of marketplace conditions for strategic commodities and industry pricing
- Strong grasp of engineering concepts and financial analysis
- Ability to lead complex negotiations with major stakeholders

Pay
$123,000 – $178,000 annually
