Commodity Management Director 1

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of commodity management and buying professionals
• Lead negotiations for commodities and services within the group
• Develop and implement procurement policies to ensure strategic purchasing
• Establish corporate targets in pricing, terms, and supplier performance
• Maintain materials cost responsibility and oversee procurement strategy execution
• Interact with senior executives of multinational companies for negotiations and partnerships
• Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers' senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Economics, or MBA, or equivalent experience
• 11-14 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or commodity management
• Expert knowledge of marketplace conditions for strategic commodities and industry pricing
• Strong grasp of engineering concepts and financial analysis
• Ability to lead complex negotiations with major stakeholders

Pay

$123,000 – $178,000 annually
