Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key field leader supporting the Senior Superintendent in overseeing daily low voltage construction activities on mission critical projects.
- Directly manage and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of mission critical low voltage systems, including:
- Structured cabling and fiber optics
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
- Collaborate with electrical teams on the integration of low voltage systems with mission critical power infrastructure.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including 3-week look-ahead schedules, logic ties, and resource allocation.
- Cook up with subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning agents to ensure seamless integration and testing of BMS and EPMS systems.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and quality standards in live or near-live mission critical environments.
- Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation for low voltage scopes.
- Track progress, identify field issues, and support resolution of RFIs and change orders with minimal impact to schedule.
- Participate in daily/weekly progress meetings and contribute to accurate as-built documentation and turnover packages.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of progressive experience in mission critical construction, with at least 2+ years as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Strong specialized experience in mission critical low voltage systems, with demonstrated hands-on expertise in BMS and EPMS.
- Proven proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development, updates, and look-ahead planning.
- OSHA 30 certification and a strong safety leadership background.
- Ability to read and interpret low voltage drawings, riser diagrams, and sequence of operations.
- Experience with Procore, BIM coordination, and commissioning processes.
