Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day field operations, schedules, subcontractors, and site logistics for mission critical facility builds.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and company standards.
- Oversee the quality and progress of all phases of construction, proactively resolving site challenges as they arise.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.
- Manage the proper use, storage, and maintenance of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and high-performance among all on-site personnel.
- Lead regular site meetings and communicate effectively with all parties involved in the project.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or construction-related certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years managing mission critical projects (e.g., data centers, hospitals, call centers, utility facilities).
- A thorough knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and safety requirements for mission critical environments.
- A proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
- Demonstrated leadership and effective team management in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with commissioning and turnover processes for mission critical projects.
- Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP, or similar) are a strong asset.
- Familiarity with BIM software and digital construction management platforms.
