About the role

Labatt Food Service, the tenth‑largest food service distributor in the nation, is hiring a Driver Helper at its Houston location. The position is part of the Labatt Food Service Driver Program, which is designed to move employees from Driver Helper to Class A CDL‑qualified Route Driver through paid training and on‑the‑job experience. The role involves working in a high‑intensity logistics environment, delivering up to 1,400 cases by hand each day and preparing for a Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with the delivery of up to 1,400 cases daily, handling cases by hand.
• Support the driver on local routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Participate in the paid training program to obtain a Class A CDL.
• Follow safety protocols and operate trucks equipped with advanced radar and safety technology.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
• Proof of employment eligibility in the United States.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check, drug test, and physical examination.
