Commissioned Driver Helper

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.

About the role

Our trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology, including adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All trucks are new and feature automatic transmissions for a smooth ride every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of up to 600–1,200 cases by hand daily.

Requirements

• Entry level — no experience required (we provide training to start and build your career).
• Previous experience in any of the following is a plus: warehouse worker, warehouse associate, delivery driver, package handler, order selector, manufacturing, factory worker, construction, general labor, laborer, landscaping, shipping and receiving, material handler, or any job involving hands-on work.
• Must have the desire to become a Route Driver.
• Must bring a valid Texas driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am and 5:00 am (10–12 hour shifts).
• Home every night and weekends.

Pay

• Average salary: $700–$760 weekly.
• Up to $1,500 driver referral bonus (offered once employed).
