Responsibilities

• Aid and manage the training of new team members
• Maintain working knowledge of all phases of your department operations
• Ensure employees are working where needed and employees are staying busy
• Absorb and maintain accurate inventories of all products
• Complete required reporting
• Provide recommendations on areas of improvement
• Document and inform Management of all priority tasks and personnel problems
• Report any problems, discrepancies, issues to Management in a timely manner with written documentation
• Assist with general upkeep of all areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
• Set an example to promote positive attitude and teamwork!
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with inventory management
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs)
• Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
• Ability to work in a correctional environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly
• Excellent organizational skills

Qualifications
