About the role
The Commissary Assistant supports the food-service operation of The Bridgeport Port Jefferson Ferry by handling the loading, unloading, and delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of food-service supplies and food items.
- Prepare items for quick and efficient delivery onboard the ferry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid TWIC card or must have completed the TSA enrollment process.
- Ability to operate a computer terminal, telephones, and standard office equipment.
Pay
$18.72 an hour (non-exempt).
